It keeps a page for each of the 2,851 outfits in the game, from the Season 1 Renegade Raider to this October's Five Nights at Freddy's crossover. Every page lists the skin's rarity or series, the set it belongs to, the season it came out and what it typically costs in V-Bucks and US dollars.

03 Rarity guide
Every Fortnite outfit has a rarity or belongs to a series, and the color behind its icon tells you which. Rarity used to set the price: Epic skins cost 1,500 V-Bucks and Legendary skins 2,000. Today most new outfits are Epic or part of a collaboration series, and bundles often change the final price.
Simple early outfits, often soldiers and recruits from Chapter 1. Usually 800 V-Bucks, about $8.99.
A step up in detail, from Renegade Raider to Fishstick. Usually 1,200 V-Bucks, about $13.49.
The most common rarity today. Battle Pass skins and most collaborations land here. Usually 1,500 V-Bucks, about $16.86.
Skins with heavy effects or progressive styles, such as Raven or Midas. Usually 2,000 V-Bucks, about $22.48.
Characters from other games: Master Chief, Kratos, Lara Croft, Sonic and the Five Nights at Freddy's animatronics.
Heroes and villains from Marvel comics and films, including Spider-Man and Iron Man.
Monthly outfits for Fortnite Crew subscribers. They come with the monthly subscription and are usually not sold on their own.
Counts come from the Lootlore index. Other series in the catalog: Star Wars, DC, Lava, Frozen, Slurp, Dark and Shadow. US dollar figures use Epic's rate of $8.99 per 800 V-Bucks.
04 What's new
Fortnite's November mini-season, Treasure Hunters, started on Nov. 1, 2026. It replaces the Chapter 7 island with the smaller 80-player Crossbones Isle and mixes One Piece with music collaborations. Most of the new outfits are sold in the Item Shop rather than the Battle Pass, so Lootlore adds each one on the day it goes on sale. Here is the schedule Epic announced, in Eastern Time.

05 The app
The Lootlore app has the full catalog with images, styles and Item Shop history for every skin. It runs on Windows and macOS and in your browser, and your wishlist syncs between them.
Each outfit gets its own page with the in-game description, rarity, series, set, release season, the date it entered the game files and all of its styles. Pages for new skins appear after each Fortnite update.
Open a set to see every outfit in it, such as all four Five Nights at Freddy's animatronics or the original Chapter 1 Halloween squad. Series pages group Icon, Gaming Legends, Marvel, DC and Star Wars skins.
Pin the skins you want. After each daily reset at 7 PM Eastern, the app checks the Item Shop and sends a desktop notification when a pinned skin is back, with its price in V-Bucks and dollars.
The desktop app keeps a local copy of the catalog, so search and skin pages work without a connection. It downloads only the changes after each patch, usually a few megabytes.
06 Our data
Game files. Names, rarities, sets, descriptions, release seasons and icons are read from Fortnite's public cosmetic data after every patch. That's why some outfits appear in the catalog a few days before they reach the Item Shop.
Item Shop. After every daily reset at 00:00 UTC (7 PM Eastern in winter, 8 PM in summer) the app reads the public shop to log each appearance, record the price and send alerts.
Prices. V-Bucks are converted to dollars at the US rate in effect since March 19, 2026: $8.99 for 800 V-Bucks, $22.99 for 2,400, $36.99 for 4,500 and $89.99 for 12,500.
Corrections. Spotted a wrong set or season? Email hello@lootlore.app and we'll fix it in the next update, usually within a day.

08 FAQ
Lootlore is a catalog of Fortnite outfits. It has a page for each of the 2,851 skins in the game with its rarity or series, set, release season, in-game description and a typical Item Shop price in V-Bucks and US dollars. You can use it on the web or install the app on Windows or macOS.
No. Lootlore is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite, V-Bucks, outfit names and outfit images are trademarks or copyrights of Epic Games, Inc. and are shown only to identify the items.
No. Lootlore never asks for your Epic account, password or two-factor code, and it does not read your locker. If a site or app asks for your Epic password to “check your skins”, it isn't us. Never share your login.
The typical price is the usual Item Shop price for the skin's rarity, such as 1,500 V-Bucks for an Epic outfit. Bundles, discounts and some collaborations sell for different amounts. The app shows the last price actually seen in the shop when it has one, and converts it to dollars at $8.99 per 800 V-Bucks.
An outfit appears once Epic adds it to the game files, which usually happens with a patch a few days before release. Treasure Hunters skins such as Luffy, Zoro and A$AP Rocky are added on their shop dates in November.
No. Lootlore is a reference catalog only. It doesn't sell V-Bucks or items, and Epic's terms don't allow buying, selling or trading Fortnite accounts.
